My Water Post For Today.
Something that we rarely get down in Southern California. Rocks on the shore.
This is the North Shore of Long Island.
Lots of cliffs and rocks and less wave action, then on Long Island's Southern Shore. But beautiful in its own way.
I have more photos to share, but I thought I would start with the rocks and the water.
I hope you Enjoy.
I Love the beach and the water (always have) this is a great Monday water post!!! take care :-)
ReplyDeleteNow to me, this is what "beach" looks like -- rocks. I grew up going to the north shore of Lake Superior, and sand beaches are unheard of there. They have to be constructed at area lakes that want to encourage swimming.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo.
Hey thanks. I appreciate you both liking the shot. I have many more and a few of them will turn up eventually.
ReplyDeletePiglet: You are right, the Great Lakes are similar in rock content. I just find it interesting that you have an Island and from one side to the other, things are totally different. Think Fire Island or Jones Beach on the south shore.
