We, the Steely Dan Fans, have been bantering back and forth these past 2 months, wondering if a tour might be in the works.
A week ago, Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs announced that they would be touring together and that left us wondering, why no Donald and no Dukes of September?
My thought was that he will be touring, either as Steely Dan (if Walter is up for it) or else he will go out on his own. If you remember, he has a new CD, Sunken Condos, to support.
Others in our group, were not so optimistic and felt there would be no tour.
It looks like for once, I am right, Steely Dan will tour this year. Woot!
All we know at this juncture, is that they will be at Ravina, which is North of Chicago, for 2 nights.
