The main assignment for my Social Networks and the Web class, is rendering a map of my Facebook friends via a program called Gephi.
I worked on it for several weeks, but it was this past weekend, where I finally got it to the point that I liked it. Since many of you end up on Facebook with me, I thought I would post it.
The Steely Dan world is in the lower left side. The Unit fans are over on the lower right side. The top, is college friends on the far left, high school friends on the mid left and family sort of center. Oh, the final group on the top right is is my son's friends...including my "Other" sons. :-)
I thought it came out particularly beautiful. Sort of like a Spirograph.
I am currently rocking an A- in the class, which is making me giddy with delight.
The semester is winding down rapidly...three weeks to go.
