An Art Show For Cara

My Art Teacher was on sabbatical last semester and the only reason I knew this, was that we had to communicate last year, so I could register for her class this semester. She mentioned in passing that she was not "on Campus" because she was on sabbatical.

The results of her time off were showcased last Friday at Tyler Art Gallery.

This is her, forced by me to stand in front of her exhibition sign.

She said to me that she generally hates photos like this, but I thought it came out cute.

I don't even want to attempt to explain what her work is, but here is a press release from SUNY Oswego, talking about it. You can view the release, HERE.

Once I got into it all, I found the works to be fascinating. I love textures and there were definitely some that were nuanced with texture. A few alphabet letters turned up, on some of the subjects and a black cat, too.
