So Yeah, I turned The Big Six Oh

Since today is my birthday, we are spending today in Ventura and Santa Barbara.

It seemed like a good idea to us and after running a huge amount of errands, off we went. As soon as we got here, we were sure we made the right decision. The waves were so large and the wind was blowing them around, like you wouldn't believe. More photos on that, later in February. The sunset was magnificent, too.

Dinner at our favorite restaurant, Andria's Seafood Restaurant. We had Shrimp and Chips and we shared a bowl of their marvelous Clam Chowder. We bought some dessert, too.

God willing, we will be heading to Santa Barbara in the morning, to walk the beach and check out the crafts. Our favorite thing to do, when we manage to get up that way.

It almost makes me happy to be 60.

The top photo was taken on Ventura Beach. I had to tuck in my hair, to keep it from blowing all over the place. No, I did not cut it.

The bottom photo was me, when I was born. Yes, 60 years ago today.
