Link TV (our newest channel) routinely airs a show called Earth Focus. We have been airing some of the old episodes recently and about 2 months ago we heard about a new show that was not going to be ready for Earth Day, but would be a big deal, for a late May airing.
I have watched this show become more of a promotion priority every day. The subject is the killing of elephants for their ivory tusks and the show is called Illicit Ivory. It will finally air on KCET tonight at 9PM and of course, on Link TV too.
We had a screening last night at the LA Zoo and many environmentalists and activists were on hand. People like Mike Farrell and Tippi Hedren, to name 2.
I have not seen the show and I head that it is very graphic, in regard to the killing of the elephants. If it makes the world take notice of the murdering of these innocent elephants, it is a production worthy of being produced and promoted.
I am proud of being part of this, however small my roll is.
