A Box Of Memories

I have a friend whose Mother had something called a Printer's Box, which is a wooden box with different sized spaces for objects.

I fell in love with it and when I arrived in Los Angeles, I found something that would work in the same way and so I began my collection of things that were and are important, to me.

My ID from Camp Edie, my first credit card from JC Penney, my baby bracelet, the cigar that we gave out for the birth of my son. Things that you will always remember.

It came to the point where I had no more room and so I bought another one. It has mostly pins and things we picked up on our vacations, but there are other, personal things, too.

They both hang in my living room and bring me pleasure.

I have no idea what will happen to them someday, but for now, they are a peek into our lives together.

Our 37th Anniversary happens in just 11 days. :-)
