The Bobcat Fire has been burning in the Angeles Forest for the past 2 weeks.
It has attacked Mt. Wilson for several days and as a matter of fact, is still doing so.
Our firefighters have been working so hard and with air support coming in (from other fires), we keep beating it back...but then it returns.
What this photo shows, is that there is upwards of A Billion Dollars worth of Television, Radio and Communications equipment, up there.
If the fire burns those buildings, Los Angeles goes off the air.
Good luck to the firefighters and may Wilson survive, once again.
Photo is from an Southern California Edison camera and a plane has just dropped phos chek (a fire retardant).
