Arthur M. Anderson

On Wednesday evening, the Arthur M. Anderson came chugging up the Detroit River to Port Huron.

There just happens to be a Streamtime Live camera there and so I checked it out.

It was raining, but it seemed to be moving along on its way back to Lake Huron and then Superior.

46 years ago Wednesday, it was the ship that was with the Edmond Fitzgerald, when it went down.

I can't believe it is still going strong, moving iron ore.

  1. The hint I had was that it had loaded up on Tuesday, so I just checked the marine traffic on the streamtime site and there it was, right by Port Huron. Unfortunately night and raining, but you get what you get. Glad you enjoyed it my friend.
