Dad's Car

Many years ago, we had a family car.

It went across the United States shortly after it arrived.

Something like 7 thousand miles were put on it in 6 weeks.

It was shortly after I got my driver's license and I was the back up driver for the trip.

To say the least, it prepared me for the eventual journey (5 years later), as I relocated to Los Angeles.

Each one of the children used this car as their first car. Learning to drive and then as transportation.

Oh, the stories I could tell...

My brother wanted a photo of the car and so I dug this one up.

The day we bid a final farewell to it.

I couldn't have been happier to see it go.
