St. Therese Icon Day 2

In icon painting, paint is laid down from dark to light, from coarse grain to fine.

Here is the base color, roshkrish, over the entire icon. The flesh is painted with a mixture called sankir which is a greenish brown.

I did not stay around to redraw the lines in black, but I will do that tomorrow.

I was glad to add the bright colors to the Icon.

St. Therese is going to be stunning, with her bouquet of roses.
