While I was in Washington, DC, I caught up with a friend of mine and I actually got to visit his workplace. A few years ago, he and I and his girlfriend went to a tiki bar together and had a few drinks. I was reminded of that long ago afternoon, When I got to his office. There on a shelf in his cubicle, was an entire collection of tiki mugs. I am not known for my stark office area, but this shelf really took the cake, in my book. The picture doesn't do it justice, but gives you a hint of what he has going on the shelf. Very cool and definitely a conversation starter.

It's a small collection at the office, but it brightens the day! It helps me get through although... I'd much rather have your situation: having one of the world's greatest tiki bars share a wall with my company's building!!!
ReplyDeleteActually, it's so hard, having to pass it by, when I am in a hurry to get home at night. Especially when it looks like they are pouring and chanting in there. :-)
