The ongoing debate of what to do with my Christmas Lights...and the fact that I don't want to mar the new paint job that I just spent a fortune on, has now been solved!
The Gods of all things Christmas Lights came to my rescue about a week ago. My husband and I walked into Lowe's Home Improvement Center and what was the first thing I saw in the middle of the aisle?
Clips for hanging Christmas Lights!
They come in boxes of 50 and they get placed using a pole that you can either buy, or use one from home. We decided to use one from home.
I figure we will try them out and if good, get more.

ReplyDeleteYeah, they do work and according to our estimate (that we did on Sunday), the 50 should be enough. 2 weeks to go, til we find out for sure. The pole thing says that we shouldn't need a ladder. I don't believe it, because the garage lights are high. We shall see...
