People from my Iconography Class and others who normally don't attend, came together for our yearly workshop making Pysanky Eggs.
Barbara Wampole is our instructor and she showed the "newbees" the process of drawing on the egg and then dying it.
I had a haircut appointment and gave my space over to someone who had never drawn on an egg with wax.
I got there just after 1:30PM and amazingly, there were two spaces left and so I got to work on my 10th egg.
You can see the egg in the second photo.
It is in the upper center of the photo.
The dye is kind of a purple color.
It was supposed to be a bright red color, but that did not make me happy, so I went with peacock.
I was just happy that I found a design that I had never done.
All in all, I thought it came out good.
