The Black Dagger Brotherhood - Lover Enshrined

I have been waiting for the better part of a year, for this book. The author asked her fans to wait until "streeting" day, so that our purchases count toward the NY Times bestseller list, so being a good fan of the series, I headed out to Borders on Tuesday evening and got them to get the book out of the back room of the store. I just don't understand why these stores that don't care enough to put out the book, are the ones that are counted for 1st week sales...but whatever.
I am currently reading my friends book, but this one is definitely on deck and will probably be read this weekend. Being I spend 3 hours commuting, lots of books get read. This book is about Phury, one of the original Black Dagger Brothers. He has been prominently featured in several books in the series, so him finally getting his Happily Ever After is big stuff to us brotherhood followers.
I have mentioned the series before and again want to say that if you are a romance reader that doesn't mind going toward the Paranormal and Vampire worlds, it's quite a read. Lots of contemporary references and situations. The author, JR Ward, must love rap music, because she is always referencing them. She also writes the brothers as very "Urban" street types and I get a kick out of the way the brothers "speak". After 6 books, I think I understand street speak, to a degree.

Got time and enjoy romance, I highly recommend this series.
