The Living Room this Fall.
I collected a bunch of Fall type things in time for my son's Halloween Party. Some of them didn't make it past the day of the party, but the rest are still around, in a nice harvest display on my coffee table.
I just found some really nice battery operated candles at Costco on Saturday and I added that to the display. Inexpensive and I don't have to worry about the cat catching fire. :-)
I don't know how long the battery will last, but I have 3 going in the evening and they give a definite nice winter time feel to the room.
As I said the other day, I love the Fall!
I have been think about the candles for a while for the same reasons that you got them, they look nice and you don't have to worry about the cat. :-)
ReplyDeleteMine are tea lights or votive lights (the ones you used to find at Church). Small, but very cute. I don't have them out in this photo, but I was even thinking of putting some into my fireplace one evening (If the thing is clean enough, of course). See if it gives a fireplace look to the room, without me having to go to the effort of putting up a fire.
