It's Time For Frost

After a weekend of on again off again rain and cooler temperatures, I wake up on Monday morning to find I not only have to put on shoes to get the paper, I need a coat, too. Well, actually I took my fleece blanket and wrapped it around me.

When I got outside, I saw that there was frost on the grass and of course, frost on my roof. Quite the feeling of Christmas.

What a pleasant surprise, for this Angeleno. :-)

This is the last day I had my fall leaves on my welcome sign.

Last night I changed it to a Thanksgiving horn of plenty.
I think of all the cute little cut outs that came with the sign, I like the leaves the best.

My sister in law gave it to me and I so appreciate it.

A final thought.
Since things get crazy, this week, a Happy Thanksgiving to those traveling this holiday.

I was originally going to, but was asked to delay my travel til the week between Christmas and the New Year, so that's when my family will be visiting our friends.

Make Memories.

  3. Same thing this morning...except 24 hours later and yes, I did grab a coat this time. :-)

So far, I got gravy made and tonight I will make cornbread to go in the stuffing. Little pieces of the puzzle.

    Happy Thanksgiving to you both.

  4. Those little leaf cutouts really are pretty. And FROST? In LA??? Wow.

Tomorrow I'll pick up the turkey, bake the squash, peel the spuds, put together the stuffing (whole wheat bread with dried fruit), and the Middle Offspring will make the pies. While it sleets.

Happy Thanksgiving to Angel and family, and everyone here!
