I mentioned in another post, that I had been following these clouds for about 15 minutes, first coming out of the Newhall Pass and then later, when I got out of my car to go shopping, the rain arrived. This photo was taken just before it started to rain. I was so impressed with how dramatic they looked, that I took my crappy cell phone camera and shot straight up.
It came out magnificent!

From up and down, and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds...at all.
