My Water Post For Today.
While we were gone for the early part of the summer, they obviously did much work on the transition areas of Bridgeport Lake. This is an area that has water and soil. They obviously planted cat tails in there. The cat tails are (I don't think blooming is quite the word for this) appearing from the greenery and it is quite pretty to see.
The only time I remember seeing cat tails as a child was at some place my parents took us, when we went fishing on Long Island. I have no clue, where, of course. :-)
They definitely add beauty to the area and of course, to the water.
I hope you enjoy.
Truthfully they do, and a nice thing to see (thank God they are not real or the cats would have to hold there breath a long time) Ha Ha :-)
ReplyDeleteI never did understand where that name came from. Whose idea was it? :-)
