My Icon In Her New Home

I showed my St. Kateri Icon off the other day, in a post about my cat, but here is the photo of her at her home in my house.

I decided that I wanted to see her every day and since my living room is the generally cleanest room in the house, I felt that would work the best. I didn't want her in the full sun, so I gave her a position at a window that I can easily leave closed.

The thing you see laying down just in front of her, is a card of the Icon the class did last year, which I bought during the workshop. There were 2 bowls of plants on the wooden file and that frames her well. A few indian designed coasters (which were also on the wooden file), finish the look. It's not an altar...but what the heck.

It's her home in my home.
