Happy Birthday KCET!
53 years ago today, we went on the air.
I have gone into detail on the event, many times...especially during our 50th Anniversary celebration in 2014/2015.
We (the staff) say this quite often, who knew we would still be around 6 years after leaving PBS.
Well, we are and we are currently semi-stable, money wise.
Watch, layoffs will commence tomorrow, just because I said that. :-)
October we will launch 4 different series, so we are super busy creating content for air and web.
SoCal Connected begins on 10/10, Lost LA begins the same evening. Border Blasters is also there, that same night and Town Hall starts a week earlier on 10/4.
Always happy when we are in production.
