The Hudson River At Albany, NY

My Water Post For Today.

After a few weeks off, I once again bring you to our trip down the Hudson River.

This time we are in Albany, NY.

The Livingston Avenue Bridge crosses the Hudson River and connects Albany and Rensselaer, NY.

From what I just read, it is not in great condition and that is why I managed to get some decent photos.

The speed limit on the bridge is 15 MPH.

It was just about sunset, so the photo is not very bright...but you get the idea.

It made me think of the fact that after a long day, we were finally getting toward NYC.

Just a few hours to go.

I hope you enjoy.

  1. I cross the mighty Hudson River every day at work, here, https://goo.gl/maps/wWXKKcd5s8F2 .

I also enjoyed crossing it on Amtrak, as the train left Rensallaer (sp?) as the train headed west.

There is a really nice boat tour on the river that originates in Albany. We learn lots of things, and see many interesting points. See https://dutchapplecruises.com/

As an aside, Angel, I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving and wish you and your hubby both a Chag Urim Sameach and a Merry Christmas.

  2. I remember crossing the Hudson, on the way to visit you and your parents. I didn't know the Hudson made a big turn to the west, at that point. Things you learn in your 50's. :-) A Happy Hanukkah to you and yours. Cathy
