I made it to the other side!
In honor of that fact, I got my free (but normally more expensive, because it was at a tourist stop) Starbuck's Coffee.
We stood there watching the trolleys go up and down the hill. To actually take one for a ride, it was $16 round trip.
Too expensive, and we had lunch plans at Alioto's with a PBS friend.
Maybe later Sunday, if the weather holds out.
Lunch went well and it was so good to catch up with the PBS world in the Bay Area.
We went to Boudin's Bakery, right across the street (a post for another day) and visited Ghirardelli Square. A free piece of chocolate came our way, from them. Yum.
All in all, a laid back 65th Birthday in the City By The Bay.
