Welcome to a new month and it's May Day!
7 days until we leave on our train.
The Southwest Chief follows I-40, which is mostly where Route 66 used to be.
Many of the towns along the way, ended up in the song by Bobby Troup.
Google put a tribute to the route on Saturday and it had over 100 images by one of their employees, in it.

Very cool.
Some of the places pictured are the Chain of Rocks Bridge in St. Louis, MO, which I went by last year.
The beautiful sandstone cliffs in Mesita, New Mexico.
And the historic Hotel du Beau in Flagstaff, AZ.
