Santa made an appearance, at the angel house this year.
In a great thing, he brought me my package from Belgium. Woot!
Gina sent me a box with an angel on it, some very yummy christmas tree cookies, tea and coffee, with little ceramic cups, napkins, a chocolate santa, and some presents for Makenna.
All were appreciated, even the Makenna's presents.
I got my Husband Maker's Mark Bourbon, and some Sprite, so he can have a Bourbon Seven, occasionally.
I also got him a book I read about, called "The Maternal Genetic Lineages of Ashkenazic Jews". It claims that all Ashkenazic Jews originate from just 4 women.
Using DNA, they did the study and found this to be true.
Both of us will probably read it, because the concept is intriguing.
Where in the world were these 4 women? I guess we will find out when we do.
Hi! So good the package arrived in time for X-mas, and maybe Makenna's treats can be given to your grandcat? She probably wouldn't mind. And what I like the most about family tree research, is to try and follow the maternal lineages, which is often harder to do with the surnames changing and all. I signed up for a more detailed plan at My Heritage, which allows me to see so many more records of research. I have my DNA results connected to it all, so that makes it even more interesting. Have fun reading the book!
