This is my house on Sunday January 2, 2011.
As I have mentioned before, we have last had snow in some sort of measurable form 22 years ago. That happened overnight and yet this one came about 1PM in the afternoon. It was a shock to me, because the snow level never gets down to 1500 feet.
It never got more impressive then slushy snow, but still, it made my final Holiday day off feel like Christmas...and that was very nice.
Oh and for any who wonder, it is all gone.
Snowy Days... It doesn't look all that bad, But I am sure it looked that good. As you say it does give a very Christmases look. This is how I love snow. :-)
ReplyDeleteGosh, did anybody get out their snowblowers to take care of it???
ReplyDeleteOh wait... So Cal, no snowblowers... did people at least shovel it off the roofs? Although... it looks like there isn't any on the roof...
You don't know what you're missing, Angel! It was a glorious 3 whole degrees this morning (up to 5 now at noon -- woot!), and there's light fluffy snow floating down. Ah, winter. ;-)
I knew you all would laugh. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was fun while it lasted, though. Just a taste of the white stuff.
Martha, I didn't know how to spell Christmassy either, so I changed what I was saying on the blog post.
