It may look like it is business as usual, but looks can be deceiving. They pulled the plug on Sunset Blvd's Master Control.
As I posted yesterday, we knew its days were numbered...down to the single digits, if you want to be exact. Burbank was lit in the early morning hours of Wednesday and so far, it is operating fine.
We are still shadowing here, just in case there is a catastrophic problem, but we will probably pull that final plug and power down Sunset, either today or Friday. It will not live to see the weekend.
It is so bittersweet to me, this whole process.

ReplyDeleteWell, we tried to take it offline today and something (a software upgrade of some sort) took us off the air at Burbank, so we went back to Sunset. As they say, try again tomorrow. :-)
