Up On The Roof

We have a rooftop bar on our hotel and so I decided to check out the view up there, last night.

It was right before sunset of a hot and muggy day.

Lots of clouds to give the photos some interest.

The first one is (obviously) the Empire State Building.

It is just a block away from our hotel and dominates the area of Midtown that we are situated in.

This second photo highlights the water towers that sit on top of many of the buildings in New York City.

I always remember James Taylor singing "Up On The Roof" and thinking about how you would see those very towers, when you went.

The building is in Korean area of NYC and though we have a small room, it is right there by just about everything.

A win for us.
