A Candle For My Mom & Dad

I saved this photo of me at the Santa Barbara Mission for Sunday, since I sometimes put religious things up here. :-)

When I was at the Mission, I decided to light a candle for my parents.

I always feel good when I get somewhere particularly "Holy" that allows candles to be lit.

I did not ask my Husband to take the photo, but did see later, that he took one.

They have been gone for, in Dad's case 11 years and in Mom's case it will be 25 years this Fall. She basically passed, just before my son's 2nd birthday.

I remember how much they loved visiting Santa Barbara, so I was glad that I had the time to do this.
