While we were looking at the many kinds of fish at the Odysea Aquarium, we happened upon a tank of Jelly Fish.
The story in my family goes that my Dad, when he was stationed at Pensacola, Florida during WWII, went swimming one day. He ended up getting stung by the native jellyfish (which might be these moon jellies).
He was young, he was stupid, as the young sometimes are, but he survived his jellyfish attack.
I got a kick out of seeing these fish. They are pretty incredible.
