Saigon And A Wedding

My "Other" son #2 brought me an interesting present from Vietnam. A tee shirt that cost 40,000 Dong...or $2.85 US.

I thought you would like to see it.

Up on Facebook are several pictures of my "Other" Son #2 and his family at his older sister's wedding. Hopefully my "other" son won't get upset, but here is what I consider the best one.

His 2 sisters and his sister's new husband.

  2. Ignoring the child commenting over this post... ;-)

So, being I wondered about the clothing...I Googled a bit and found out that the traditional wedding attire, is called Ao Dai and is usually red. The one worn by the man is usually blue.

  3. A very beautiful wedding photo. Best wishes to the bride and groom, and to your "other" family.

  4. Oh Angel, how lovely! And great to have confirmation he's home safely.

And smack Other Son #1 on the fanny. That marine is gettin' just plain uppity!

ps: Good to know that the assertiveness training that me (and the rest of the US taxpayers) have funded is working out well!

  5. When Other Son #1 finally gets his orders, maybe then he will warrant a post of his own. :-)

I love the color that she chose for her dress. Putting flame orange and a red hat on top (red for money, of course) makes for an outstanding wedding dress. I think maybe she is holding calla lilies for her bouquet. Anyway, truly lovely, as any bride should be.
