Children's Hospital Makes The Big Move

Last Sunday a monumental move took place at Children's Hospital. Over 200 patients were moved from the old hospital, to the new Inpatient Tower, that I have documented over the past several years. From what I heard it was a very difficult move because up to 7 staff had to move the different pieces of equipment connected to these young patients. It went flawlessly, from what the press reported.

On Monday morning, the big difference was that there were smiling faces looking out so many of those windows. I had thought that staff would have those rooms, but instead, they gave them to the children. A wonderful thing, major kudos to the hospital.

As I left work yesterday afternoon, I heard the familiar drone of a helicopter coming in over our lot. I watched it and amazingly, it landed on the helipad up on the new building. My first sighting.

The best to them, as they work on their 2nd hundred years of serving the children of Los Angeles.
