Sunday it was raining all day. Right from early morning, to overnight.
Monday started out with a little rain and then immediately cleared up. I was kind of sad to see it go.
Around noon, I could feel change in the air and I went looking at the weather channel website. It showed a small chance of a thunder storm coming around my area, probably missing me and instead hitting the San Gabriel Mountains. If I was going to see anything, it was going to be around 4PM.
Around 3PM it started getting darker and I again checked the website. It did show more of a chance and within about 10 minutes or so, the first lightning strike goes whizzing by our building. Yep, that definitely got my attention!
It was short lived, but about 10 minutes after seeing that small amount of rain falling, along comes a rainbow. Not just any rainbow. A huge, across the sky, rainbow!
As soon as I photographed it, it was gone, as was the rain.
Back to our normal, once again.
Truthfully this type of normal, is not too bad to deal with :-)
ReplyDeleteRight now, it is just about perfect...but just wait for summer to appear.
