My Water Post For Today.
It's another outside shot of Fallingwater and so I am OK to show it. :-)
This photo shows off the pool off the living area and the lovely bronze statue called Mother and Child, created by Jacques Lipchitz in 1941 and 1942.
The sculpture depicts a mother with a child hugging her back. The mother looks up to the sky with hands raised.
The pool is the one that you can take stairs down from the main living room area. The water flows through it and then drops making one of the waterfalls.
It is a beautiful area of the house.

I think this is a lovely post. Anytime you have running water is very nice, & I think the Mother & Child is also a great addition.
