Pysanky Eggs (2020)

First off: Happy Birthday to my Sister!

Due to a busy month of March at my Church, our normal workshop was moved to the first Saturday in March.

So we were a little early with our decorating the Ukrainian way, with Pysanky.

This was my 5th year making these eggs and at the end of the day, I had a total of 12 eggs.

It is getting to be quite a collection.

I have so many eggs that are black, that I decided to make other colors. One that ended up Orange and another one Red.

The simpler one, that is red, was the practice egg.

The more complex egg design ended up a sort of burnt orange. It was placed in a cranberry color and that is what happened.

They both look good and they do stand out from the others.

Here are the other 4 years worth of posts, if you would like to revisit them.
