Fort Madison Station began passenger service on Wednesday morning.
The station is the old Santa Fe station built back in the early 1900's, which means it is over 100 years old.
It was quite the challenge to bring it up to the ADA standards of today, but after some delay they made it happen.
I was so happy to see it in action.
Can't wait until I take that train, (the Southwest Chief) once again.
