A Viking River Cruise

Hi Jet Setters...not.

Jeb Brooks and his wife, Suzanne recently went on a Viking River Cruise from New Orleans, Louisiana to Memphis, Tennessee.

I have seen booklets come to my home, that feature these cruises, and the price of one of them is astronomical.

So I ended up booking us a river cruise around Fort Madison last year for 25 dollars. (Yes, I am cheap).

That doesn't take away from the fact that I think this would be quite the journey to take.

So Jeb and Suzanne took this 7 day journey for me. You can watch the video HERE.

Right off the bat the price for their cruise, was 13 thousand dollars. Yikes!

They inform you that being it is an American ship, an American crew, and American everything, that costs more than European tours. Welcome to America. :-)

The way the tour goes, it has busses that follow the ship to every stop along the way, so you always have transportation when you get off the riverboat.

That makes a big difference, I am sure.
