At 6:45AM, my carbon monoxide detector reached the end of its days, and started beeping.
I had just had breakfast, and went back to try to sleep a bit more (I woke up at 3AM), before my Husband got up.
I got up and immediately found out that it had reached the end of its life, so I placed it in our son's old room, and shut the door.
I got an hour and a half extra sleep, though I might have had a bit more if a black crow did not hit my window at 8:15AM. Sigh...
The bottom line of this entire situation is that we had to make a trip to Lowe's, to get a replacement detector.
We park in the Veteran's spaces, right by the front door, and what did we see? This lovely display that they made to honor those who did not come back from war.
There was a bench, if someone wanted to sit and contemplate.
Yes, the white car is ours, btw.
