The Glorieta Pass In New Mexico

After you leave Albuquerque, New Mexico, you head north to the Santa Fe area.

Just before you get to Santa Fe, you are sent to the east, to a town called Lamay, which is where passengers detrain, take the bus to get the last few miles to Santa Fe.

Our train continues to head east, and enters the Glorieta Pass.

It is the most wooded area of the state of New Mexico. Lots of trees and mountains. It reminds me of the Donner Pass in California, in that regard.

It also has many streams, and is truly Gods Country.
