Living Water



Day 3 of my trip to Washington, DC


My Water Post For Today.

The cornerstone of our new Church is the baptismal Font, at the entrance. You are invited to place your hand in the streaming water, to bless yourself. Not my thing, but a nice sentiment, for those who want to cross themselves with baptismal water.

It has a wonderful mosaic of the seven sacraments down at the bottom and the colors are just wonderful.

    ooh, i'd be taking baths frequently if i had a tub with a design like that :-)

    I like it. I am just not into putting my hands in water that could be used for total immersion of a person for baptism. :-)
