Touched By An Angel

Day 5 of our trip to Washington, DC. We will be back in LA at 6PM.

The other day I was setting up the shot of my newest angel. In order to get a decent photo of her, I had to move my garden angel. Well, that was just too much excitement for Makenna. She came over to investigate the angel and next thing I know, she is putting her nose where it probably doesn't belong.

Kind of a cute shot. :-)

  3. they say cats are attached to a house more than to the people in the house. i don't get why they would say that, because i know our cat is attached to us and the dogs! we are looking for a new place, also with a garden attached to the house so it's better for the dogs and cat.. and no hunters who might prey on our own little live stock...

there are many stereotypes or believes about cats, the same goes for dogs, but it's very personal, i think, how you raise your pets... or train them. i notice Souris follows what the two dogs do, and she already understands when to stay away :-) Sascha grumbles in such a nasty way, Souris then lifts her little paw, blinks her eyes a few times (which makes me feel sad for her she can't get in the basket of the dog because that's where she would love to sleep, safe and warm leaning against her older doggy sister), but to no effect, because Sascha doesn't want a cat near when she sleeps hahaha.

They are like infants, they communicate, having pets around the house is so much pleasure.. and Makenna sure seems to have found her home with you guys, very cool :-)

  4. We moved to this house with our first cat, Jessica and she did freak out for quite a bit. It's definitely the people AND the environment. Both make their lives complete. Be calm when you move on to another place and after a few days, things should settle in.

  6. I'm glad Makenna greeted you happily! That's always so much nicer than the p.o'ed greeting I always got from my first cat.

My best friend has a cat that came with their house. Max did move with his people (who thought he was Maxine), but was an outdoor cat and worked his way back, showing up at Cindy's 2nd-story bedroom window one evening demanding to be let in and fed. He's been there ever since.
