Just a few photos of Knott's Berry Farm at the Holiday Season.
Here is the main entrance on Beach Blvd in Buena Park. The original entrance to Cordelia Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant and a few shops. That area still exists and is now called Marketplace. The line up for Chicken Dinner was long, even at 3PM, when we passed it.

You enter the park and they have a beautiful tree set up. Not the only one that they have, but a beautiful place to take a photo.
When you get further inside, you find that 1/2 of the park is transformed into a Holiday Bazaar, with outdoor booths and indoor displays of Holiday crafts.
Our friends and my Husband and I love walking around the area. Carolers singing and an old time feel, greets each guest to this part of the park.

Though you can see the rides over on the other side of the park, it isn't TOO intrusive...well, minus the yelling when the people on the Sky Tower plummet down to earth.
I hope you enjoyed a little walk into the world of Knott's. Sorry I can't send you a jar of jelly. :-)
I am a Boysenberry Jam fan!!!

I always loved Knott's berry farm.:-)
It's not jelly, it's jam. And I don't use jelly or jam, but I do like the the song. :-)
ReplyDeleteI personally enjoy seedless Boysenberry jelly. Mitch likes it with seeds, but I hate that.
ReplyDeleteWhat song...oh wait, I Googled it.
Punky's Dilemma
Wish I was a Kellogg's Cornflake
Floatin' in my bowl takin' movies,
Relaxin' awhile, livin' in style,
Talkin' to a raisin who 'casion'ly plays L.A.,
Casually glancing at his toupee.
Wish I was an English muffin
'Bout to make the most out of a toaster.
I'd ease myself down,
Comin' up brown.
I prefer boysenberry
More than any ordinary jam.
I'm a "Citizens for Boysenberry Jam" fan.
Ah, South California.
If I become a first lieutenant
Would you put my photo on your piano?
To Maryjane--
Best wishes, Martin.

Leavin' by the basement door),
Everybody knows what he's
Tippy-toeing down there for
Yes that's it, my favorite line "Ah South California" :-)
