Here you go, Denise and anyone else who is interested in an Italian Ricotta Pie Recipe (called Pizza Dolce in our house).
Just click on the link and it will make it full size. Note: I had to click it and then click it again, to make it full size.
It is very rich, but oh so yummy.
Enjoy.

Gosh Angel, I remember those days of eating a wonderful Ricotta pie's, but those days are over. It makes me think of the old days, I definitely remember mom making those pies every year. Thank you for that,it was a really good thing to think about now.:-)
ReplyDeleteCan you tell that page has been used? I think I have made it several times, over the years. My brother in law is dairy intolerant, so I limit making this to just an occasional thing. Usually when I can't stand not having it anymore...and why do I feel this coming on. lol
ReplyDeleteThe only problem is at least when you hit that point, you make it. But for me it doesn't happen like that. Even when I want to have it, I can't make it, & Geoff has no interest in it. So even if I want to buy it, he sees no reason it. oh well... And by the way I remember the way the recipe look. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Angel. I am taking a vacation day Thursday to do my Christmas baking. I'll let you know how it comes out. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteDenise: Good luck and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteMartha: As I mentioned in the article, I am usually the only one who goes for it, so I tend not to make it too often. I think the last time I had it, I bought it from the Italian women who used to do St. Joseph's Table. Mine is better. :-)
