My Water Post For Today.
It is not raining hard, like we get in an El Nino year, but 3 days of on and off steady rain has taken it's toll on my pond drain. I took this photo just before sunset and just after dinner, my Husband and my Brother In Law went outside to try to find the drain in those rocks you see in front of the pond. The amount of water standing in the area of the rocks and the patch of lawn itself, had increased.
It took a bit, but I can now say the drain has been cleaned and water is flowing down to the street, as it should.
Enjoy the pond, on a rainy day in December.

Denise, yes, I do have a Pizza Dolce recipe at hope. I believe it's in an Italian cookbook that my Mom gave me. I have made it several times over the years and absolutely love it!
