My Water Post For Today.
This was another shot taken in the late afternoon, of the Pacific Ocean at Ventura.
It was a warm day and I was totally prepared for sunny weather, but just a mile or two from the water, we came to the fog.
I just found out that we do have a colloquial term for a foggy July day. No sky July is its name. Of course the more popular names are June Gloom and May Gray, which happen many days each year.
We actually had fog this year on August 1st and I found out at that time that the term is Fogust. :-)

Love the picture..reminds me of my childhood when i visited Pebble Beach in Half Moon Bay..most of the time the weather was foggy..
ReplyDeleteMy niece loves Ventura...she spends most of the time at the beach...one of the reasons she move from San Francisco to the Los Angeles area..
