President Obama Comes To Visit Jay Leno

The President came to be on Jay Leno's Tonight Show yesterday.

As usual, whenever the President comes calling, all hell breaks loose and that was the case on Tuesday.

We have all these wonderful windows and it gives us a front and center view of all the comings and goings.

The audience arrived and when that happened, we knew that the guest couldn't be too far behind...so we paid a bit more attention.

Finally at 4PM, there they all were. Several police, 8 minicam trucks with sticks in the air and camera's at ready. People lining Bob Hope Drive hoping for a glimpse of The President. Oh and the drug and weapon sniffing dogs were patroling the area. 3 Fire trucks parked around the area, in case of injury and finally there he was, The President himself, in a motorcade.

There were at least 16 motorcycle cops, Highway Patrol, Secret Service and who knows what else.

I was on the Fifth floor for the arrival, but in a fabulous last minute idea, I ran down to Alameda and only had to wait about 5 minutes for the President to exit the lot.

I must admit it was much more of an E ticket attraction, watching it from ground level. I waved as he passed, not like I could see into the vehicle, but I got a kick out of it.

An interesting afternoon.
