One of the things I will be working with is a software package called IBM SPSS. It originally stood for Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, though now days it stands for Statistical Product and Service Solutions (Doesn't that revised title sound so IBM-ish). Whatever...
Since I am in my first week, we had to produce reports using an already loaded in bunch of data. Let me just say, it was challenging, but with my teachers help, I got it going and the page you see is one of the two I submitted for grade.
Note: I have no idea what it stands for, but it is a report, it came out, and I assume it is accurate.
We will be conducting research for this class and I assume we will load the data into SPSS, to analyze it.
It should be interesting.
WTF?! min, max, mean, std deviation, expressed as what - percentages?, whole numbers?, butterfly farts?. That chart is absolutely useless. God I hope yours will be better.
ReplyDeleteI KNOW! It made no sense to me, either. It would help if we knew what big_CA and interpersonal_CA mean, but seriously... Hey, I got a 15 out of 15 as a grade, so I am just happy it seems to be what it supposed to be.
