Of all the buildings, my favorite building in San Francisco, is the Ferry Building.
Being we were coming from Oakland this time around, getting to the first stop in San Francisco was a breeze.
Normally, we come from the last stop on the line, just south of San Francisco Airport. So it is a long journey.
I can definitely see why a lot of people live over on the other side of the bay, it is not as beautiful as San Francisco, but you can't beat the commute.
The ferry building has lots of food courts, a few places to buy other things, (I bought a bench scraper), and coffee bars. Most are commuter focused, but some are for tourists.
The ferry boats come in and out, so you can literally sit on a bench, watching San Francisco go by, drinking your late.
Out front, it's a madhouse, of cars, Waymo's, pedestrians, and street car busses. We found even that fascinating.
If you have the time, definitely make a stop here.
