As we were traveling to Oxnard, a few weeks ago, I knew we would pass this old abandoned overpass, so I positioned myself at the back window of our car.
This overpass to nowhere, has a interesting history.
Its history goes back to years before I arrived in Los Angeles.
My Husband and his Army buddy started a puzzle business, with an image of Budweiser logo.
They sold it to Busch Gardens, which was a theme park attached to the rear of the Budweiser Brewery in Van Nuys.
To get to the back side of the theme park, you had to cross the railroad tracks, using this bridge.
It is the only thing left of an entire theme park, an abandoned bridge to nowhere.
