I am still in New York, but my guys have finally landed, after spending a hellish day dealing with American Airlines and their baggage SNAFU. Their flight was to take off early in the day. They finally touched down almost 2 hours late and they did not get their baggage. I hear that their flight had a total of 3 bags that made it onto the aircraft.
My husband said it was a major mess and the workers were banging their heads against the wall, from the frustration of having a room keep filling with bags that couldn't go anywhere. More from him at a later date, I would bet.
While we were all still on the East Coast, we heard the word that there was an earthquake in L.A. From what I can tell, our house and all should be just fine, but the possible meaning of this quake, is still unknown and thus, adds a bit of fear to me, here on the East Coast.
hi angel, glad to hear you and your family is okay. sigh. but what mess at the airport!
ReplyDeletei'll let LP know :-)
Hi Angel,
ReplyDeleteI have been praying for your family.
Talk to you soon,
Robin
House was indeed, just fine. Unfortunately, our air conditioner is out again for a totally unrelated reason. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the thoughts and good wishes.
Sending some cool temps from my living room to you, my sister.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the house was okay. My family (Hemet, Orange County) were all okay.
I felt it, a little rolling motion, here in Las Vegas. My thoughts went to you immediately, then I remembered you were safe in NY.
Please look toward the north, to Connecticut, and say hello to my sister and her family.
Hope you have a safe trip home, and you're A/C is fixed and waiting for you when you get there.
Love,
Cindy
